We work closely with our finishing vendors to keep them as close as possible, but there will always be variations from batch to batch, especially in colors other than black.

    The part itself is a good quality. The downside is that it moves a lot with the factory locking plate. This could be a potential issue if you drop the magazine as its weak at lock up to the body. They can fix this with a longer locking plate. The weight is nice for drop free mag release.

    THIS BASE PAD IS NICELY MACHINED AND FITS WELL. IT DOES EVERYTHING IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO. IT IS, HOWEVER, OUTLANDISHLY OVER-PRICED IN MY OPINION.
